Scholarships for Students Enrolled in Laboratory Professions Programs There are several scholarships available to students enrolled in accredited programs. At the state level, students must be enrolled in a CLS/MT or CLT/MLT program in Minnesota. There are also many scholarships at the national level open to students throughout the United States.
The majority of the scholarships require the following:
State Level The Minnesota scholarships are sponsored by ASCLS-MN, MSP, and Minnesota chapter of CLMA. These scholarships are available to CLS/MT and CLT/MLT students. The applications can be downloaded below.

The scholarships that are available through national organizations are open to CLS/MT; CLT/MLT; HT; CT; and Phlebotomy students. Specific requirements can be reviewed at their respective WEB sites.
ASCP
www.ascp.org/MainMenu/Students/Laboratorystudents/scholarships.aspx will direct you to the scholarships offered by ASCP, available to CT, HT, HTL, Phlebotomist, MLT, and MT. The Siemens scholarships are also handled by ASCP, which include fifty scholarships of $1000 each for MLS/MT/CLSstudents and fifty scholarships for MLT/CLT students.

Forum for Concerns of Minorities Scholarship Assistance for minority students in clinical laboratory scientist or clinical laboratory technician programs who can demonstrate evidence of financial need.
Cardinal Healthcare Graduate Research Award Awards are limited to Clinical Laboratory Scientists or Clinical Laboratory Technicians pursuing graduate research in the field.
Quest Student Forum Leadership Award Recognizes a student member of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and contributed to the growth and development of the ASCLS Student Forum.
