Representative Thissen, Chair of the House Health Committee, referred the laboratory licensure bill to the Council of Health Boards (CHB) for evaluation. The first step was for the Coalition to complete this 60-item questionnaire, which provides information about the profession, and supports the case for why laboratory professionals should be licensed. The Coalition submitted this questionnaire to the CHB in July, 2009 and provided requested revisions for clarification after meetings with the CHB, arriving at this final version in November 2009.
