Welcome to the ASCLSMN web site!  My name is Karen Renaud and I am very honored and excited to be the ASCLS - MN president for 2012-2013. I have the great privilege of working with many dedicated volunteers throughout Minnesota.  ASCLS-MN is the wonderful organization it is because of its members, and exists for its members.  I look forward to working with so many dedicated laboratorians who are so passionate about promoting our profession and will do my best to uphold and follow in the long tradition of Minnesota ASCLS leaders who have guided this organization so well.

The mission of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science - Minnesota (ASCLS-MN), the state's constituent society of ASCLS, is to promote the profession of clinical laboratory science in Minnesota and provide beneficial services to those who practice it.  We strive to be the premiere organization for clinical laboratory science practitioners that provides leadership and promotes all aspects of clinical laboratory science practice, education, and management at the state level.

New members, long time members, and those who just want to learn more about us can use our state website and the national website www.ascls.org  to find out everything from upcoming continuing education events to what's happening in Washington.  Another great way to keep up with our society is to read our award-winning newsletter - it is filled with all of the happenings throughout the year.
